The shape morphs. The band settles.
Every spire in the field below is one kind of Bitcoin payment still waiting to be confirmed, read live from the public chain, standing in a real three dimensional cathedral of light and stone. A spire's footprint is its sampled mass. Its roofline height is the fee rate in the middle of its offers. Its lit window band spans the middle half of its offers, and its tip reaches for its highest offer. Wider, rougher spires carry wider spreads of offers. Drag to walk the full 360 around the field. Tap a spire to read it in plain words. When a block lands, the shape hammers into its truest form and collapses into the confirmed frames in the panel, each printed with its arrival time, its read time, and the measured latency between them.
reading the chain…
Open by design: this page reads two plain files, state.json and the frame archive, published with no account, no key, and no gatekeeper between the reader and the truth of the chain.
How to read the field: footprint is sampled mass (total vsize), roofline height is the median offered fee rate, the lit window band spans the middle half of offers (first to third quartile), and the spire tip reaches the highest offer. Thin dashed spires are thin families: fewer than three sampled payments, faint on purpose, and no stamp is promised for them. Stamps exist only on confirmed frames. The blocks standing in a line along the west rim are those confirmed frames in the scene: one block per frame, the newest at the front, sized by its settled receipts, its gold strata by the share of families that carried a band, and a block that lands while you watch rises out of the ground on the hammer beat. Small free flying lights are visitor wisps, presence beside the data, never data. Visitor wisps on this page are fixtures: a local cast rendered on your device, zero network calls, labeled as fixtures until the ruled Cloudflare beacon answers the same function and changes nothing else. A wisp is a position and a trail and nothing else.
The watcher: on the horizon a dragon watches the formations. He carries no data and speaks for no figure. When a block lands, the shape hammers into its truest form and the frame stamps; then the dragon breathes once across the sky. The dragon is the reset after the hammer, and the pulse starts again from zero. In still mode he sleeps: no fire, no idle motion.
Still mode stills the spin, the breathing, the tremor, and the dragon. The data keeps refreshing and the receipts keep printing.
